Bachelor of Computer Information Systems

Mount Royal University

We live in an exciting time in history. For decades, technology has been swiftly empowering humanity towards a brighter future. From gaming to medicine, communication to space exploration, technology is pushing us further than we ever thought possible. Even as a kid, I knew that I wanted to be a part of this movement.

My education, personal projects, past work experience, and ongoing professional development have all been geared towards a better understanding of how technology can enhance our lives. My skill set includes a knowledge of both hardware and software, Windows and Linux operating systems, and a variety of programming languages, including HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Bash, and MySQL.

My work and volunteering experience demonstrates my passion for people and my strong interpersonal and communication skills. Most recently, I was nominated as an ambassador for the first year Computer Information System students at Mount Royal University, where I had the privilege of actively contributing to the formal review process of the BCIS program. I also strive to share my passion for technology with others.

As demonstrated by my command of several coding languages, there's nothing I love more than exploring new programming concepts and techniques.

Computer Hardware

One of my favourite things to do is building new computers using the latest tech, as well as reworking old hardware to serve new purposes. I did this in the past to help Canadian refugees to be connected and providing value

System Administration

I have a passion for computing through the terminal in Linux, and love to learn about system architecture, file organization, networking, and system security.

The Great Outdoors

When I'm not engrossed in my latest tech projects, you can find me camping, hiking, biking, snowboarding, and taking advantage of the beautiful Canadian Rockies.
